About the Course
This course is an introduction on the use of contemplative creative approach and practices in psychotherapy and clinical settings. This course is presented in a level by level fashion starting with theory, framework, and the 7 levels of the CCT model, psycho-education and experiential practices to train the embodied mind.
We will discuss assessment, treatment plan and case studies.

*It is a recommended, but not mandatory, to have taken the course "Origins and Foundations of the Contemplative Creative Science" prior to taking this course.

What you will learn

CCS framework, theory and CCT model of seven levels to train the embodied mind

You will be introduced to the Contemplative Creative Model 7 levels of training the mind.

You will learn and understand better each level, and how to apply meditation and contemplative creative practices in clinical settings.

You will learn on applications of the practices and with which population it has benefits.
Experienced service practitioners working with young adults, adults in individual therapy, couple and family therapy, and/or parent work, such as counsellors, social workers, social service workers, psychologists and other professionals providing some form of counselling. Helping professionals who have already been introduced to clinical meditations and the research to support it**, either through attending mindfulness-, compassion-based, acceptance-based protocols and therapies (such as MBSR, MBCT, DBT, ACT), or equivalent.
*No knowledge of artistic practice is needed to attend this course.
**If you have not taken training in meditation, we are not recommending this course to be taken at this time.Thank you for your understanding.
**THIS COURSE IS NOT a substitute for clinical professional and/or creative art therapies training.
This CCA introductory course will be offered periodically throughout the year.
