CCPT is informed by contemplative creative approaches and methodologies to train and transform the body, speech, and mind. It draws from several traditions that span thousands of years, from the earliest Buddhist Dharma practices of ancient India to present-day scientific research. 


The intention behind CCPT is to support the processes of healing, empowerment, and transformation while working with every aspect of an individual- psychologically, psychically, spiritually, energetically, socially, and environmentally. In CCT a practitioner recognizes the interwoven connection between these aspects of an individual and works in a contemplative creative integrative way to enhance self-awareness and well-being. Modalities taught within this program aim to identify client’s strengths and increase their personal resources and resilience for sustained wellbeing. 


Before taking this training it is recommended to take:

Course intro - Contemplative Creative Science 

Level 1 - Required CCMT program

Level 2 - CCPT foundational modules

Course Curriculum 

Modules draw on Buddhist Psychology, Buddhist Philosophy, Mindfulness, Compassion, Contemplative Science, Contemplative Arts, and Contemplative Psychotherapy.

Who can participate in this program?

The CCPT program is designed for mental health professionals, psychotherapists, coaches, educators, caregivers, and anyone in a helping profession interested in integrating contemplative creative approaches, practices, and interventions. It is comprehensive and holistic training for the cultivation of biopsychology and biotherapy; to nurture balanced biodiversity, harmonious relationships inward and outward for the well-being of our human community, our planet, and all its inhabitants.

*No artistic or meditation experience is needed to attend this course.

A list of art materials will be available for this online course. 

**This course is not a substitute for professional training in Buddhist psychology, psychotherapy, contemplative psychotherapy, creative art therapies, and contemplative arts disciplines.

The CCPT program will be offered periodically throughout the year.
